One of the most amazing times in my life occurred in the 1970's. I was introduced to the Gospel. All the angst and defense mechanisms I had build up to my 30th birthday completely disappeared. For the first time in my life I stopped looking over my shoulder and began looking up. I became a student of the Word of God. I even read a Proverb every day and it rendered a lot of my earthly wisdom senseless. The one thing I noticed was the different response to the outpouring of the Jesus Movement in the 70's by individuals: I best can describe it with the Parable of the Seeds. Not everyone received the Word in the fertile ground of their minds and spirits. The sad thing is it seems many eventually faded from fellowship and lived lives no differently than our worldly friends. So what was the difference between those empowered by the Holy Spirit who continued their walk and those who gave up? Simply put; they were not grounded in the Word of God. They rarely learned the BASICS of the Christian faith. Remember in Matthew 4:4 it states,
"Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God.”

You will amazed with the knowledge you can share in just a little bit of time studying and presenting these Quick Notes. Make a few copies for your next group meeting and ask them to share on one subject that has been a revelation to them about the basics of their faith.
Don't assume because someone claims to be a Christian they are a Christian. Ask them if they are assured of a place in Heaven. If they cannot give the username (Jesus) and password (The Cross) then pull out your Quick Note on Salvation and give it to them; or share with them if they are open to discussing the topic.
The Quick Notes are FREE. Click here. Pass them around digitally or in print.
